Hoy han venido a pasar un ratito al invernadero los niños de mi hermana Bea .

Todo esto me ha enviado Jorgelina desde Argentina en nuestro intercambio,
casi me caigo de espaldas cuando abrí el paquete , hay de todo .
Lecheras , botes metálicos y de cristal con galletitas dentro ,
botes y cajas con tapas , dos cuadritos , una caja de madera ,
dos alfombras grandes y dos pequeñas , botes de comida y agua ,
bolsas de aperitivos y un montón de platitos preciosos decorados .
Tanto tiempo admirando sus minis y ahora las tengo en mi casita ,
estoy super contenta de tener un poquito de ella conmigo .
All these wonders Jorgelina sent me from Argentina in our swap .
I nearly fell backwards when I opened the package!
Two dairy, metal cans and glass with cookies inside,cans and boxes
with lids, two unframed paintings , a beautiful white wooden box ,
two large and two small carpets , pots of food and water ,
snack bags and lots of lovely dishes .
So much time admiring her minis and now I have in my house .
I'm super happy to have a little of her work with me .

Y que puedo decir del maravilloso trabajo de Ana , del que soy admiradora

hace tanto tiempo , tan bonito y bien acabado que no me canso de mirarlo .

Hicimos un intercambio y me hizo varios de sus famosos cuadritos con rosas

de porcelana fria y hasta uno personalizado con mi nombre .

Para el bebe un guardapañales y dos bolsitas a juego en un delicioso polka dot

rosa y blanco , marca de la casa .

Una preciosa cesta con dos delicados cojines , a cual más bonito y un buzón

para la entrada de la casita del que estaba perdidamente enamorada .

Ha sido una gozada hacer este intercambio y sobre todo conocerla un poquito más .

What I can tell you the wonderful Ana's work , which I am fan long ago ,

so nice and well finished that I never tire of looking at it .

en la Feria de miniaturas y casas de muñecas de Barcelona ,
le deseo muchísima suerte en esta nueva miniaventura .
Eva did for me some of her things I liked so much ,
a beautiful blueshelf for my bedroom , a white hanging keys
and two metal signs for my new house .
She is now showing his minis for first time in the
Fair in miniatures and dollhouses in Barcelona ,

RECICLAJE DE VERANO

¿Que bien se está de vacaciones verdad ?
Sol , picnics , playa , familia , tapitas , piscina , cenas con amigos .....
Después del descanso veraniego vuelvo con las pilas cargadas y
con ganas de continuar con los proyectos pendientes .

What good is on vacation right ?
Sun , beach , family , picnics , swimming , dinner with friends .......
After a few days of summer break I have returned with the batteries
charged and eager to continue and complete the unfinished projects .

Tenía estas flores de papel que no eran a escala 1/12 y he hecho unos tulipanes con ellas .
I had these paper flowers that were not scale 1/12 and I have some tulips with them.

La desmonté y salieron estas piezas ,después recorté los pétalos y las hojas a mano .
I dismounted and were these parts, then I cut out the petals and leaves by hand.

Con un buríl sobre una superficie blanda se curvan los pétalos y las hojas .
Then with a stylus on a soft surface, bend the petals and leaves.

Se pegan los pétalos alrededor del tallo y por último las hojas .
Paste the petals around the stem and finally leaves.

Se colocan las flores en un jarrón y este es el resultado .
Espero que paseis un feliz verano .
Place the flowers in a vase and this is the result.

Quiero enseñaros las maravillas que hace mi amiga brasileña Rose Fávero .

Ella es un encanto de mujer es restauradora y tiene un gran talento para la pintura .

¡¡¡¡ Carmen me ha mandado unas cuantas comiditas más y son de escándalo !!!!
Carmen sent me a few meals and are wonderful !!!!!!!

Una bandeja de croquetas que quita el sentido , acompañada de una ensalada
con lechuga , tomate , huevo duro , zanahorias y aceitunas negras .
El aspecto y el tacto de los croquetas es tan real que impresiona .
También me envió un cuenco de gazpacho , una tapita de gambas al ajillo con guindilla y un platito con choricillos uno de ellos en rodajas con palillos .

The look and feel of the croquetas is so real that impresses me.
She also sent me a bowl of gazpacho, a tapa of garlic prawns with chilli and spicy sausage one of them into slices and sticks.

Ha tenido la amabilidad de mandar también una bandeja de croquetas para mi hermana Bea y un plato con ensaladilla rusa , ni os cuento como se quedó mi hermana cuando las vió ......

No hago más que comprar y comprar pasteles , tartas , bombones y cupcakes

para mi futura pastelería , de hecho creo que me gusta tanto comprar minis que
ya es un vicio . Pensé en hacer algunos dulces yo misma con fimo , lo único que
yo he hecho con fimo fueron unas cuantas verduras y frutas para mi casa rústica
y unos sencillos cactus para la tienda de flores y la experiencia no fué mala .
Mi amiga Carmen( Narán )me dijo que lo más fácil para empezar es la repostería ,
así que me voy a lanzar a hacer algunos cupcakes y galletas .
Pensé en comprarme unos moldes para empezar con " ayuda " y me puse a buscar
como loca en la red y encontré una vendedora española que tiene tienda en Etsy
con unos moldes preciosos y geniales de precio , quedé encantada con el tamaño
y textura de sus moldes .
Se llama Nabby y es un encanto , tiene una nuevo blog que os invito a visitar .
¡¡¡¡¡¡ Sólo queda ponerme manos a la obra !!!!!!
I keep buying and buying cakes, chocolates and cupcakes for my future pastry shop,
in fact I think I like it so much to buy minis and is a vice for me .
I thought about making some sweet fimo , all I have made with fimo were a few
vegetables and fruits to my cottage and a simple cactus for my flower shop and
the experience was not bad.
My friend Carmen (Naran) told me that the easiest to start modeling is the pastry
so I'm going to throw to make some cupcakes and cookies.
I thought about buying molds to start with "help" and I looked for on the net and
found a Spanish seller that has Etsy shop with many molds and great price.
I am delighted with the size and texture of her molds .

dos pares de sandalias de tacón ,toma ya! Hay regalos para todos los habitantes de mi casita
y yo estoy super feliz de haberla conocido y haber hecho este intercambio con ella .

He hecho un nuevo intercambio , esta vez con Carmen de Las casitas de Naran .
Admiro su trabajo desde hace mucho tiempo , sus comidas son espectaculares
por su variedad , realismo y perfección .
Me encanta porque hace muchos platos típicos de la rica cocina española .
I made a new swap , this time with Carmen of "Las casitas de Naran "

Le dije varios de sus platos que me gustaban y me ha hecho estas maravillas:

También le he hecho un macetero con una violeta africana .
Y le he enviado varios abalorios de metal que sirven como bandejas ,
ceniceros , jarrón y marcos de fotos .

REGALOS E INTERCAMBIOS CON MIS MINIAMIGAS

Tengo unas cuantas cosas pendientes que quiero enseñaros .
Esta navidad recibí una carta muy especial de Paky ,
dentro había una preciosa minifelicitación navideña ,
una bota para la chimenea, un libro con cuentos de hadas
y una bolsa con turrón y barquillos,que más se puede pedir
en Navidad, fué una bonita sorpresa que agradezco mucho.

This Christmas I received a special letter from Paky ,
inside was a beautiful mini Christmas card ,
a red boot for the fireplace, a book of fairy tales
and a bag of nougat and wafers, what more could you want
for Christmas, was a nice surprise to appreciate it .

En Enero Victoria me propuso un intercambio y acepté encantada,
tiene preciosidades en su blog Las pequeñas cosas de Victoria
y es una persona encantadora con la que es un placer hablar .
A cambio de mis hortensias y demás cositas me hizo estas maravillas:
Un juego de jarritas con su bandeja a juego, un juego de tres cajitas,
una cesta para el baño con geles y esponjas, dos alfombras de cuerda
y tres botes llenos de lápices , pinturas y rotuladores divinos .
Todo delicadamente envuelto y en una cajita preciosa, me encantó.

For my hydrangeas and other stuff she gave me these wonders :
One set of jars with matching tray, a set of three boxes ,
a blue basket with bath gel, two rustic rugs and three
bowls filled with pencils, paints and markers divine.
All delicately wrapped and in a beautiful box, I loved it all .

Me decidí a proponerle un inercambio a Isa de Miniaturas Isa Morgana
sus miniaturas me encantan, hace muchas cosas muy diferentes a cual más bonita .
Quedamos en hacerle unas plantas por mi parte y un mini cortador de papel
para hacer hojas de rosal , hortensia que ella no encontraba.
Cuando me llegó su paquete me quedé alucinada por la cantidad de maravillas
que me había hecho, se volvió loca haciendo minis, ja, ja.
Un montón de preciosos botes de gel para el baño , dos conjuntos de bufanda ,
guantes y bolso a juego , y tres pares de zapatillas para estar por casa.

Una colección completa de libros clasicos Disney, perfectamente impresos por
dentro y por fuera , para la futura habitación de mi niña , dos libretas y un boli.
Estos increibles libros,todos se pueden leer perfectamente, libros de cocina ,
cuentos de hadas , novelas y algunos clásicos como Romeo y Julieta , Mujercitas .
Al ver tantas preciosas minis me pareció tan poco lo que yo le había hecho así que me
puse manos a la obra y le hice unas cuantas plantas más que espero que le hayan gustado .

We agreed to make some plants on my part and get it to her a mini paper cutter
for leaves of rose.
When I got her package I was amazed by the amount of mini wonders
that she had done to me, she went insane doing minis, ja, ja.
A complete collection of Disney classics, lots of boats gel in various sizes and colors ,
two notebooks with a pen, two sets of scarf, bag and gloves and lots of wonderful books
that can be read perfectly, cookbooks, fairytales , short stories, novels, some classics.
Wonderful to see so many minis that I thought I had done was little so I set to work and
I made a few plants so I hope she have liked it .

Me encantan los sorteos,
organizarlos es muy gratificante para mi .
Poder ver lo bien que le quedan a Eva mis
plantitas en su casita es genial, aqui.

Estos meses he sido especialemente afortunada

de mi casita rústica, en el que usé uno de sus preciosos papeles, el modelo "shells azúl".
Decoré los muebles del baño a juego con el diseño del papel, con mini conchas en
el espejo, en el mueble lavabo, en el portar rollos y en la estantería-toallero.

CASA RÚSTICA VII

ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION

La instalación eléctrica de la casa rústica fué lo rimero que hice antes
de pintar y empapelar suelos y paredes.
Hice rozas en la madera para ocultar los cables,coloqué todas las
lámparas y llevé todos los cables hacia la parte trasera de la casa.
Mi marido soldó todos los pequeños cables a uno mayor que a su
vez soldó a una pequeña clavlija que es lo único que se ve detrás.
A esa cavlija le conecto un pequeño trasnsformador de 12v
que enchufo a la red.
The electrical installation of the cottage was what I did before pile
painting and papering walls and floors.
I clearings in the wood to hide electrical cords, I placed all
lamps and took all power cords to the back of the house.
My husband welded all small electrical cordss to bigger, and then
welded to a small connector.
This connector I plug in a small 12v transformer plug into the mains.

El aspecto por detrás es bastante chapucero pero la instalación funciona perfectamente.
Para tapar "mi obra" hice un panel que decoré y pinte como el resto de la fachada.
La puedo quitar y poner cada vez que tengo que añadir conexiónes, como he hecho
al poner unos nuevos faroles de suelo en el jardín y todo queda oculto tras el panel trasero.
Espero hacerlo mejor en mi nueva casa,pero me está quitando el sueño porque se abre
por delante,por los laterales y por el tejado y no se hacía donde llevar los cables para
ocultarlos y que sólo se vea la pequeña conexión para el trasnformador.
¿ Alguna idea ?
The look is pretty sloppy but the installation works perfectly.
To cover "my work " I made a table decorated and painted like the rest of the facade.
I can remove when I have to add connections, as I have now to put a floor lamps
in the garden and everything is hidden behind the wood.
I hope to do better in my new home, but it is taking away the dream because
it opens in front, sides and the roof and there was no where to take the electric
cords to hide it and only show the little connection to the GCA.
Could you give some idea?

LITTLE GARDEN

He hecho algunas fotos del pequeño jardín de
la casa rústica con los preciosos regalos de Eva.
Este rincón es perfecto para que nadie le moleste,
se está dando un rápido baño porque justo encima
tiene el nido con sus huevos y ¡no les quita ojo!

I take some photos of the little garden in my
rustic dollhouse with wonderful Eva's gift.
This spot is perfect for anyone to bother,
is taking a quick dip for just over has the nest with
her eggs,does not take away my eye!

Aquí se puede ver el nido con sus huevos.
El árbol es una rama real con musgo en la copa.
Here you can see the nest with eggs.
The tree is a real branch with moss on cup.

La señora de la casa está descansando un rato
a la sombra de la pérgola,está tomando un refresco
para luego continuar trasplantando sus macetas.
The lady of the house is making a break for a while
in the shade of the pergola, she is taking a drink.
After the break continue transplanting her pots.

SHIRTS

He hecho unas sencillas camisas para niña y caballero,
están plegadas para colocarlas en los cajones.
Son muy fáciles de hacer, con este pequeño tuto
podeis ver como las hice.

Se necesita:
Tela,pegamento,papel y abalorios como botones.
Se pega la tela al papel,se dobla,se pega una tira centrada,
otra para el cuello y por último los abalorios.
Como vereis la costura no es lo mio,pero es muy divertido.

What you need:
Fabric, glue, paper, beads as buttons.
We glued the fabric to the paper, fold, stick a strip in the center,
another one for the neck and finally the beads.

TUNNING AGAIN!

Me encantó el tuto de Carolyn en Carolyn's Little kitchen,
ella lo explica al detalle con unas fotos preciosas, así que
me decidí a intentarlo con algunos platos y bandejas.
I loved the Carolyn's tuto at Carolyn's Little Kitchen
she explained in detail with beautiful photos, so
I decided to try it with some dishes and trays.

Compré el papel de impresión en Ebay y ¡manos a la obra!
Seleccióné varios motivos de platos que busqué en la red,
ajusté el tamaño a la medida de mis platos, los imprimí,
los rocié con barniz mate en spray,los recorté,se remojan,
se ablandan y se pegan, son como las calcomanias que
me pegaba en los brazos cuando era pequeña.
I bought the print waterslide decal paper on Ebay.
I select several dishes that looked on the net,
I adjusted the size to fit my dishes, printed,
spray with matt varnish spray, cuts, soaked,
soften and stick, is very fun and the result is great.

FLOWER BASKET KIT
Hace unos meses Gloria,una amiga y compañera

del foro Tus Miniaturas ,me envió este kit.
Ella se lo compró pero le pareció muy complicado
de hacer y me lo regaló.

Desde luego me encantó y he disfrutado haciéndolo,

pero más voy a disfrutar cuando lo vea colocado en

su preciosa casita de muñecas .

A few months ago, Gloria a friend of
Tus Miniaturas forum, sent me this kit.
She bought it but it seemed very complicated
to make and thought that I would like.
Of course I loved and enjoyed doing it,
but I will enjoy more when I see it decorating
her dollhouse.

Primero hice la cesta,tejiendo las tiras de papel, hay que
intercalar unas con otras, pegar la base,el asa y pintarla.
First I made the basket, weaving the strips of paper,
only by inserting each other, to glue the base and paint.

Despúes me puse manos a la obra con las flores de papel.
Hay Narcisos blancos,Tulipanes,Jacintos blancos y fucsias.
Then I began to work with paper flowers.
There are white Daffodils, tulips, hyacinths white and fuchsia.

Después a montar las flores en la cesta y lista!
Espero que le guste........,besicos a todos.
Then fill in the basket with flowers and ready!

MY GREENHOUSE

Mi invernadero es una estructura metálica con cristales,

que se abre por la parte de arriba para poder plantar

en su interior plantas o cactus reales.

My greenhouse is a steel structure with glass that
opens the top for planting inside plants or cactus.

Me lo regaló mi hermana gemela Bea,porque en cuanto lo vio

pensó que yo podría hacer un mini invernadero en su interior.

¡ Y no se equivocaba !

Bea my twin sister gave it to me, as soon as she saw it
She thought I could make a mini greenhouse inside.
And she was right!

He disfrutado mucho haciendo algunas de las plantas

y flores de su interior, todavía tengo que hacer algunas

más para colgarlas del techo,todos los maceteros que

cuelgan están hechos por mi hermana Bea.

I enjoyed doing some of the plants
and flowers inside, still I have to make some
more to hang from the ceiling, all that planters
hanging are made by my sister Bea.

Como en mi casa real no puedo tener mascotas,

por las dichosas alergias,en el invernadero tengo

un cocker canela,dos papagayos y un canario.

TUNNING

Hace unos meses compré una lámpara para
mi futura casa Suiza y decidí tunearla un poco.

La pinté de blanco,hice unas sencillas rosas
amarillas con fimo y corté unas hojas de papel verde.

A few months ago I bought a chandelier for my
Swiss house and I decided to improve a little.
I painted it white, I made a simple yellow roses
with fimo and cut leaves of green paper.

las pegué alrededor de las "velas" y listo.

¿ Os gusta el resultado ?

ROSES TUTORIAL

Esta tarde he hecho mis primeras rosas rojas.
Las hago con alambre pintado de verde avocado,
papel pinocho rojo y folios verdes.

Corto el papel con taladros de hojas y pétalos.

Sobre una alfombrilla de pc al reves y un buril curvo
los pétalos y la estrella verde para hacer los sépalos.
Con un palillo marco las venas de las hojas .

This afternoon I have made my first red roses.
I make wire painted green with avocado,
Pinocchio paper red and green sheets.
I use paper punches of leaves and petals.
Pc on a mat on backwards and a curved chisel
the petals and the green star to the sepals.
With a toothpick under the veins of the leaves.

Un poco de cola al alambre y voy pegando los pétalos

alrededor, con un alfiler hago un agujero en el centro
de la estrella ya curvada y la meto por el tallo desde
abajo hacia arriba. Con la flor hacía abajo añado una
gota de cola debajo de la estrella para hacer el cáliz
y una vez seco lo pinto de verde.

A bit of glue to the wire and I'm hitting the petals
around with a pin I make a hole in the center

Después pego las hojas alrededor del tallo,

I LOVE KITS

Me encantan los kits porque son una manera

fácil de hacer minis y se aprende un montón.

I love the kits because is a easy way

to make minis and I learn a lot.

Los primeros kits que hice fueron de flores,

vienen muy bien explicados y son fáciles de

hacer como esta Poinsetia o Flor de Pascua.

Con pétalos precortados, tallos y una maceta.
Sólo hay que pintarlos, montarla y listo.

The first kits I did It was of flowers.

They are so well explained and they are easy

to do like this Poinsetia.

The petals and leaves are pre-cut,stems and a pot.

You just have to paint and mount them and go!

Después de hacer varios, me compré unos taladros
de hojas y flores y me lancé a hacer mis propias flores

de papel como estas Hortensias.

After I made some,I bought paper punches of leaves

and petals and I sarted making my own paper flowers,

like this Hydrangeas.

También compré uno de unas gafas con sus fundas,

yo trabajo en una óptica y me parecieron geniales.

I also bought one of glasses with cases,

I work in a optical shop and seemed cool.

TUTORIAL TOPIARIS NAVIDEÑOS

TUTORIAL CHRISTMAS TOPIARIS

Para el intercambio navideño que organizó Rosanna,

hice un par de topiaris para que adornaran la entrada

de la casa de Karen por Navidad.

I made a couple of topiaris to adorn the entrance

Karen's house for Christmas.

For the Christmas Swap of Rosanna.

Los materiales que utilicé son:

Dos cuentas grandes de plástico de collar,

dos palos de brocheta,nieve artificial en grano,

flores de papel,dos macetas,purpurina transparente,

plastilina y mini piedras.

The materials used are:

Two beads of necklace,

Two wooden sticks,snow grains,
paper flowers, two pots, purple transparent
mini clay and stones.

Las bolas eran verdes,las pinté de blanco,

una vez secas las cubrí de cola y las llené de nieve.

Después añadí un poco de brillantina trasparente.

Recorté las flores de papel en dos tamaños, las curve

y las fui pegando alrededor de las bolas.

Pinté los palos en blanco y pegué las bolas a los palos.

Las macetas eran marrones,las pinté de blanco con

una pátina azúl,las llené de plastilina,clavé los tipiaris,

rellene de cola,puse por encima pequeñas piedras y

este es el resultado.

The beads were green, I painted white,

once I covered them with glue dry and filled with snow.

Then I added a little glitter transparent.
Cut out paper flowers in two sizes, the curve
and I was hitting some balls.
I painted the white sticks and balls hit the rail.
The pots were brown, I painted white with
blue patina, filled clay, sank my tipiaris,
Tail complete, I put over small stones

and this is the result.

LA CENA DE NOCHEBUENA

CHRISTMAS EVE DINNER

El día más especial de la Navidad para mi es Nochebuena.

La noche del 24 de Diciembre nos reunimos toda la familia

para una cena muy especial.

That very special day for me is Christmas Eve.
The night of December 24th we joined the whole family
for a very special dinner.

En la casita rústica ya está todo preparado.

In the rustic cottage I have everything ready.

El plato principal es pavo asado con una guarnición de

verduras,minisalchichas con bacon y salsa de arándanos.

Por supuesto acompañado de un buen vino tinto.

The main course is roast turkey with a side of
vegetables, small sausages and bacon and cranberry sauce.
Of course accompanied by a good Spanish red wine.

De postre macedonia de frutas,el postre típico de mi madre,

y tarta de moras con nata líquida.

For dessert a fruit salad,typical dessert from mom

and blueberry pie with cream.

Para terminar, café con unos dulces navideños.

Después de esta copiosa cena tomamos unas copitas de

Cava y a cantar villancicos hasta que el cuerpo aguante.

PICNIC!

Hoy ha hecho una maravillosa tarde soleada

y las niñas han salido a merendar fuera de casa.

Today has done a wonderful sunny afternoon
and girls have gone out to lunch out.

Han entrado a curiosear al nuevo invernadero.

Saben que no deben juguetear por allí, no está acabado,

está todo a medio montar,lleno de cajas,macetas y

plantas por el medio que pueden romper.

They come in to browse the new greenhouse.
Know not to tinker around, not finished,

Pero se estaba tan agustito dentro que han decidido

quedarse a merendar allí,te con galletas,sandwichs....

¡Menuda merendola!

But they were so well inside that have decided
stay to lunch there, té with cookies, sandwiches ....
